Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is a Greek-American musician, and a founding of the heavy metal band Motley Crue. Lee is the long-term drummer for Motley Crue. He also founded Methods of Mayhem, a rapper-oriented metal group. He has also pursued solo musical endeavors. Lee is a PETA supporter and a strong advocate for the rights of animals. Lee has written Terry Prather, SeaWorld's president protesting Tilikum's treatment. Lee believed that the animal should be released. He also stated that SeaWorld would not comply since Tilikum is their main donor of sperm. Lee stated that the SeaWorld's complicated and ill-conceived methods to obtain Tilikum sperm. Lee declared that he would prevent more trainers from being killed, as these tragedies were caused by whales' aversion towards captivity.
